There is very important place called "Pandas Gala" means the rock which is situated 5000feet above see level. This rock is identified as Kabaragala. This rock is not artificial. It's natural one but wonderful thing is this rock situated 5000 feet border. Cultivate above 5000 Ft border is prohibited in this area because protect the natural forest and endemic plants and endemic animals forever.

         5000 feet rock is very important to forest department for select the 5000 feet border. When you travel to Udamala mountain, Nasdanda mountain or Half moon mountain which is part of the Udamala mountain, you should travel via 5000 Ft Rock and you may get rest on this. When you come the top of this you can see the down side Chena cultivation and you can see as far the paddy field cultivation. You can see on up side Eucalyptus forest. Eucalyptus is cultivate all mountains on Welimada and Nuwaraeliya divisions of Sri Lanka. This cultivations are not suitable to hill country because since no there are a lot of waterways are vanished up. Most nature care societies and some political parties are requested that don't grow such trees. They requested to grow Jack tree on the hill country.

 

        You can see very clear and pure water ways near 5000ft Rock. Some people identify this place as "Moragasdowa".  5000 Ft Rock is only rock but its shape and its situation very good.
